The Capybaras

On Earth Day, we're reading a fantastic picture book called The Capybaras. The book was written and illustrated by Uruguayan author/illustrator Alfredo Soderguit. It has been translated into numerous languages ​​and has won prestigious awards worldwide. It's truly a special book that has everything you could wish for.

The story is highly original, adventurous, exciting, and above all, incredibly educational. The funny illustrations add greatly to the already engaging story. It's very insightful and funny—for our little Capybara fans (we always look for these favorite monsters when we're at Rotterdam Zoo).
