Orange wool felt balls, 2cm
Orange embroidery yarn
A long needle
Earring eyelets
Small rings
Earring hooks
Optional:
Wool felt balls 2cm, pumpkin colours
Matching embroidery yarn
Thin twig
Craft glue
You can quickly and easily make cute earrings with mini pumpkins from wool felt balls. Great for a little gift in the fall or for Thanksgiving. We have placed a link at the top to where we buy our wool felt balls, in the most beautiful colours.
When the earrings were finished, the little monsters liked the mini pumpkins so much. They would like some for the dollhouse too please :))) Because it is such a fun craft and everything was still at hand anyway, we just made them right away. The mini pumpkins are a huge hit here!
How you make earrings and dollhouse pumpkins
Thread the needle and tie a knot at the bottom.
Push the needle straight through the ball.
Push the needle back down again.
Come back up in the same hole and make a cross.
Now the ball has 2 halves, which are clearly visible if you pull the thread tight
Push the needle up an down.
Divide the halves in 3 parts.
Push the tread up and down and cut it off.
Make the second pumpkin in the same way and make them into earrings
Cut the eyelets to size and stick into the center, with a drop of glue.
Slide little open-bending rings up to half-way on the earring hooks.
Slide the eyelets in the pumpkins on too and slide through.
The earrings are ready now, you can put the on your ears or wrap them nicely
Then we made the dollhouse pumpkins in the same way
We made those in various colours, which we liked.
We did not glue in earrings but tinypieces of a twig. ;))
