a bag of strawberry laces
sugar eyes
lollipop sticks
The sun is shining, and with the summer holidays just around the corner, we are already thinking about the sea and going the beach. For our birthday boy, the choice of a treat for school is easily made. His favorite animal is the octopus. What a great idea! We are making octopuses, you can eat without hurting them :)))
Here is how you make these octopuses
Heat a heatproof dish on a pan with a small layer of water.
Put the candy melt in the bowl to melt.
Stick the lollipop sticks in the candy melts, after a minute,
Insert the sticks into the marshmallows and let the candy melts set.
Put 4 pieces of strawberry lace per octopus.
Briefly stir the candy melts.
Coat the marshmellows with candy melts.
Spoon a little candy melts on the tentacles.
Press the marsmallow sticks onto the tentacles.
Let the octopuses dry a moment, until they're no longer wet.
But still sticky enough to press the eyes on them
Set the octopuses aside and allow them to dry completely.
Now we decorate the serving platter for the Birthday Boy!
Happy Birthday!
