What do you need?
15x15cm coloured or origami paper
a piece of white cardstock
1 pencil
1 scissors
1 glue stick
Today we're making Valentine's Day hearts with a sweet message inside, gifts for our loved ones. It could be your parents, your best friends, or maybe you have a secret crush on someone. :)) It doesn't matter because everyone loves a heart, and you can tuck a sweet message or another small gift inside.
How to make a heart
Place a 15x15cm origami sheet in front of you.
Turn the sheet uoside down, the white side turned up.
Fold the sheet lenghtwise in half, into a triangle.
Open the sheet up and fold the underside to the top.
Open up the sheet again.
Fold the bottom point to halfway up.
Turn your folding, fold the point to the edge.
Fold the right point upward, along the middle line.
Do the same with the left point and turn the folding.
Fold 4 tiny points down and glue them on.
The little monsters can do it too, easy peasy! :))
Now we also cut a cute cat, to hide in the heart
Trace the cat with a pencil, cut out, stick on cardstock and stick out.
Write a sweet message on the back and put the cat in the heart.
