The shamrock is the symbol of Saint Patrick's Day. The Shamrock is often seen on the festive green clothing on March 17. Every year on this day New York holds the world's largest Saint Patrick's Day parade, where else? we ask ourselves Today we're folding pretty green shamrocks for our windows, we think it will look very festive om March 17. But we hang the shamrocks today already, just to get in the festive mood ;))!
How to make festive Shamrock decorations
Have a sheet of kitepaper of 14x14 cm.
Fold the kite paper in half.
Fold the kite paper open.
Fold the top corners slanted inwards.
Fold the bottom point against each other.
Fold the left point to the middle line.
Fold the right point neatly against it.
Now your folding looks like this.
Make a total of 6 leaves.
Roll up a strip 3 times and cut if off.
Glue the strip together.
Stick 3 times 2 leaves together.
Allow the Shamrock leaves and stem to dry well.
While the Shamrock leaves are drying we make more, we make another large Shamrock and three small Shamrocks
You need 6 sheets of kite paper again for each Shamrock
Use 14x14 cm paper again.
Fold the sheets in four.
Fold the kite paper open.
Cut along the two folds.
Fold the small leaves same as the large ones.
Fold 6 leaves again and 1 stem.
Stick all the leaves together.
Allow the glue to dry completely again.
Make as many as you like, the folding goes faster and faster!
Stick the Saint Patrick's Day Shamrocks on your windows and look how beautiful they are!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
