Krekel

We're reading Krekel (Cricket) with the Monsters, a beautiful and moving book by Dutch author/illustrator Annet Schaap. Sadly this book is not translated into the English language. Reading aloud or reading independently is both an option, but definitely do it together, because you won't want to miss this beautiful, exceptional story either.

We won't tell you anything about the story itself, just that it's original, exciting, and fantasy, and we read this incredibly thick book with warp speed. Everyone here just wanted to know: what happens next, how will this story end? A wonderful book!
