Wherever You Go, My Love Will Follow

We're reading a gorgeous book to our little monsters, by Birgitta Sif. She's an/illustrator children's author, originally from Iceland, but now living in the United States. Her book is filled with the sweetest poetic texts for little and large people, of all ages.

She wrote these eight short stories about friendship, hope, courage, and love for her young daughters, but her beautiful words are useful to everyone, all year round. Her brilliant illustrations in the book perfectly complement her short stories.

We'd have loved to show you every stunningly beautiful illustration here, because the adorable little  mouse made it really hard for us to choose! But do read the book for yourself (or aloud), and if the price is prohibitive, borrow it from your library, like we did. It makes also a wonderful present, to give and receive. It will definitely make it onto our bookshelves, when the occasion arises.
