300 ml peanut oil

For Chinese New Year, we're baking walnut cookies, which are very easy to make. We're making it a bit more difficult for ourselves. We were presented with a pretty wooden mold, and we'd like to use it. In the original recipe, the cookies are baked as flattened balls, but we're (stubbornly) using the mold.
