The Runaway Pancake

An old fairy tale about a smart pancake who ventures out into the wide world has been given a new life. Dutch author Tiny Fisscher  retells the story in a very funny, contemporary way, and she did it brilliantly. 

This stacked up story is fast-paced; the pancake is clever and evades all the grabby hands and paws. He laughs at the people and animals who chase him: Catch me if you can! But who will finally catch him? Who is smarter than the clever pancake? 

Our little monsters are listening on the edge of their seats...they're so curious! But they have to listen patiently, as the book is turned over repeatedly. This way, everyone can get a good look at the beautiful, funny illustrations that illustrator Sophie Pluim created for this book. Another fantastic book from Christofoor Publishers!
