A measuring tape
Scissors
A ruler
Tailor's chalk or
Self-erasing marker
Pins
Matching embroidery thread
An embroidery needle
We came across a cute Mother's day gift online. A super handy, A super handy, three-piece set of small wool felt baskets. They are very easy to make and quickly ready. The little older monsters can make them all on their own!
Any mum can put these adorable little baskets to good useLet the kids choose three sweet colours of felt with matching embroidery yarn and they can get started right away. P.S. We've also created a PDF pattern for the kids. ;))
How to make the felt baskets
Print and cut out the pattern and pin it on the felt
Or measure and draw 3 squares of 12, 15, and 18 cm.
Make 2 diagonal folds in the cut out felt squares.
Cut on the lines.
Pin the points together.
Thread the needle and tie a knot at the bottom.
Fasten the baskets all around using the blanket stitch.
Tie off neatly and you're ready for the next basket!
The baskets look cute on Mum's desk for example, they are very handy to put in all sorts of little keepsakes!
